Grandpa Chambers dug up some old baby photos of Valerie last night and we got a kick out of the comparisons. The top photo is of Lily at birth the second is of Valerie. The third is of Lily with Grandma Chambers, the fourth is of Valerie with Grandma Chambers (Mom). Does Lily look like Mommy?

Doctor Update...

About a week ago, we took Lily over to the local Children's Hospital to have an ultrasound on her hips. Because Lily was breach, it is common for an ultrasound to be done after 6 weeks. A few days later our pediatrician called and told us that one of Lily's hips was just fine, but the other one showed some minor issues, so she recommended us to a pediatric orthopedist.

Anyways, today we went and saw the orthopedist and after he reviewed the ultrasound results and looked at Lily, he said that everything looked great. Big relief for Mom and Dad. We are going to have to take her in for another ultrasound in a month just as a precaution.

Relaxing...

We have a Boppy chair that has quickly become a favorite. Lily loves to sit in it and listen to the music play. She also likes to watch Daddy do all sorts of funny things in an attempt to get smiles. Here are a couple of shots of Lily relaxing in her favorite chair. The first picture is a favorite of Mommy and Daddy.

Lily's finished nursery...

Here are a few pictures of Lily's nursery. The finishing touches were handmade curtains from Grandma Chambers and a handmade quilt from Grandma Monteith.

Lily meets Grandma and Grandpa Monteith...

My parents flew in yesterday to meet their favorite (that's right Cori) grandchild for the first time. They will be here for a few days and then are going to be stopping back in the Spring for a longer visit. Here are a few pictures from their visit so far.



As you can see, Hawkeye became friends with Grandpa rather quickly.

Lily and the Hawkeyes...

Lily got to experience a wonderful thing last night...an Iowa Hawkeye victory in the Orange Bowl. As you can see, she was totally into the game. Thanks to Aunt Cori and family for the cool "first Hawkeye blanket."
